A drawing for my Conceptual Drawing class. We had to get a scene from the greek story of Narcissus, and illustrate our own version of it, and color it in a painterly fashion.

For those of you who don't know the story, Narcissus pretty much attracted attention from all the nymphs for being so pretty. A sage told him never to see his own reflection. One of the nymphs was so broken by Narcissus' rejection, and led him to a pond and Narcissus took a look. He instantly fell in love with his reflection and since he couldn't do anything about it, he killed himself.
